Got a pretty good snow last night. Must be around a foot and a half by now. We really should put up a snow gauge, so we’ll know for sure. Won’t be collecting pine needles today.

John and Gabby (the dog) not going fishing as planned. He’ll probably just stay in and tie flies or watch old movies. Cabin fever day. Better get in some more wood for the fire.

Working on a new basket today. Using walnut slices this time. So far, it looks kind of like a bed pan. I want to make the next one look just like a Boston baked bean pot. Lid and all. Speaking of beans, better get a pot on the stove. No fish today.
